One Month Away...

Ladies and gentlemen,

We're one month away from our first Night Out with Friends at the Penny Farthing on January 22nd. I thought I'd share a link with everyone so you can see what Wounded Warriors Project, the subject of our benefit, actually does. Read the attached to find out more about veteran Roberto Cruz and his relationship with WWP: http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/content/blogcategory/96/878/.

Anyways, the details again are: 8PM - 11PM, $40 for all you can drink liquor and beer. All proceeds are going to support folks like Roberto.

Can't wait to see you and Merry Christmas!

Happy Holidays!

Hey everyone,

It's been some time since we've updated our website. Over the past two month's, we've had to delay the annual Hoagie Day celebration (originally scheduled for December 4, now moved to January 8), had two membership meetings at New Amsterdam Hall/Santacon 2010, and have been gearing up for our first Night Out with Friends event on January 22nd. The membership ranks have grown by two since we originally started this adventure (welcome Adam and Bob). We were also able to have two of our out-of-town members join us on the Santacon adventure this weekend.

We're truly excited to have you join us in January. In the meantime, happy holidays from all of us at Benefits with Friends!

Happy Halloween everyone. Hope to see you at the 4th Annual Monster Mash Tonight. But guess what, we've got two treats for you tonight: Dates and details have been set for Hoagie Day and our charity event.

On Saturday, December 4th, the 5th Annual Hoagie Day will kick off at McSorley's. If you've been to it before, you know we've got no idea where we're headed to after there. If you haven't, it's a tradition like none other. Hope you can make it.

Weekend Wrap and the weeks ahead

BWF had a busy weekend. Some of the crew (Charlie and Brett) stopped by the green fields in Far Hills to cheer on the Hunt. Meanwhile, Tom,Chris, Tim, and Joe made a visit to Citizen's Bank Park to watch NLCS Game 6. While the Phils lost, I think everyone walked away a winner at the Hunt.

Anyways folks, we've got a lot of stuff happening over the next few months for everyone to get excited about. While we're finalizing the details for the January 22 fundraiser, we've also got: the third annual Ice Skating in Central Park set for early January, the 5th annual Hoagie Day in early December, the 4th Annual Monster Mash Halloween (to support Operation Gratitude) this Saturday, Haunted House NYC:Superstitions this Friday, and of course, monthly members events all year long.

If you're interested in the Halloween events, let us know so we can buy tickets.

And remember, you stay classy world.
